Where can I park?

There are some general and disabled parking spaces at the front of the building and a further car park immediately behind the building. There is also some on-street parking on Stonegate Road, and on Queenshill Avenue. There is also a bus stop immediately outside the building. Please park considerately and remember that Stonegate Road is an access road for buses and fire engines. The security of our visitors is paramount. All visitors are asked to comply at all times with our procedures.

Will I be asked to sign in?

You are only required to sign your car in if you are parked in the car park

Will you search my bag?

Bags may be searched at the discretion of the Centre Team.

How do I know what to do in an emergency?

Information on evacuation procedures is shown on each floor. In addition you will be directed what to do by appropriate staff during an evacuation. You are obligated to follow their instructions.

What activities are on offer and how do I find out about them?

How do I get information?

If you ring the Centre reception on 0113 2185888 with a question, they will pass it on to whoever is dealing with that activity or aspect of the Centre and they will call you back. Alternatively you can e-mail thecentre@mazccc.org

What IT equipment is there?

We have 4 PCs with broadband access and basic software. We run basic computer classes for older people in the afternoons. Contact the OPS Team for further information on 0113 2185853

How can I book a room?

Who has paid for the Centre?

The Centre has been built with generous donations from Charitable Trusts, LJHA and private individuals. We always need further funds to help keep the building well maintained, to buy further equipment and to help with running costs. Who runs the Centre?

The Marjorie & Arnold Ziff Community Centre is a project of the Leeds Jewish Welfare Board which is also its funding body. LJWB is a registered charity with a Board of Trustees and a group of Honorary Officers. Its President is Edward Ziff and the Chief Executive is Rebecca Weinberg. The detailed management of the Centre Management Team, supported by a Management Committee made up of a cross-section of the Community. This is chaired by Russell Manning.
