Happy 3rd Birthday Wellfairshop
DON’T BRING A BOTTLE – BRING A BIRTHDAY BAG
thewellfairshop at Moortown, celebrates its 3rd birthday on Sunday 8 August and is inviting the Community to come and share in the celebrations.
‘Thewellfairshop is Leeds Jewish Welfare Board’s only charity shop and has been a great success since opening in 2007. The shop is an important source of income for Leeds Jewish Welfare Board and is well regarded amongst many of its regular clients who know they will always be able to pick up a bargain’ said fundraising manager, Meirav Sasson.
The shop has recently undergone a makeover thanks to the window dressing of its newest volunteer, Suzanne Berson. ‘Customers eagerly await the new look each week and our shop window has become the envy of other charity shops in North Leeds,’ said Meirav.
In celebration of it’ 3rd Birthday, Suzanne is designing a vintage window for the shop. The Community is welcome to come in anytime from 10am-2pm and enjoy a piece of birthday cake. Instead of presents thewellfairshop is requesting that all partygoers bring a bag of unwanted clothes, toys and bric-a-brac.
