Function Facilities
Since opening just a few years ago, The Marjorie & Arnold Ziff Community Centre has quickly become a popular and cost effective Kosher venue for all sorts of events, including:
Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah and Bat Chayil, Weddings (including the ceremony), Anniversaries and Birthday Parties (adults and children).
These can be hosted at times to suit the organisers, seven days a week, including breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Shabbat lunches have become very popular, Saturday evening events can be arranged around Shabbat times, and all other times are freely available (including bank holidays by prior arrangement).
In addition the venue has been used by many people to host stone setting consecrations for family and friends. We are also able to host Shiva if the need arises.
We provide a range of facilities and equipment included in the price:
- LCD computer projectors
- Portable and wired microphones
- Flexible staging up to 8x4m
- Built-in sound systems - bring your own music, or available for DJs and bands to plug straight into
- Theatre spec lighting - can be used to wash walls with colour
- CCTV monitored on-site parking and on-street parking
And, of course, the most important element of any function: fantastic food! Rob McQue’s food is renowned for its great variety and quality. We can offer everything from party food (salt beef sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, fish ‘n chips, falafel) to beautifully prepared and flexible three course meals, including a full choice of meat (from chicken and beef to lamb and duck), specialist starters and canapes and delicious desserts. All menus can be created to your specification (including the choice of wine) and made to fit any level of budget.
