The Hub activities are an integral part of the Marjorie & Arnold Ziff Community Centre and are specifically designed for older people and those with disabilities.

In order to enjoy a Hub activity it is necessary to purchase a payment card. These are available from the Cashier’s office which is sited next to Reception on the ground floor of the Centre. The payment cards are priced at £6.50 which allows access to 5 activities or £12.50 which allows access to 12 activities.

A key worker system is in operation whereby a member of staff will be allocated to you and will be able to provide support and assistance when required. In order to ensure your wellbeing, it will be necessary to complete a short form to provide us with emergency contact details.

Transport may be available to those who would otherwise not be able to access the activities. This is limited and only available on request. There is a small charge for this service.

Members of The Hub staff have details of any new activities, social events, parties, outings and trips. Bookings for these extra activities is essential and must be paid for in advance. There are also monthly social gatherings for the members of the Leeds Jewish Blind Society.

Food and drink is available throughout the day. The Oasis café serves a variety of dairy meals. Meat and vegetarian meals are available in The Vine at lunchtimes and some evenings.

Subsidised Lunches are available for HUB members in the Vine Restaurant Monday-Friday between 12-12.30pm for only £5.95

For further enquiries, please ring The Hub on 0113 2185857 and leave a message. A member of staff will return your call.
