Conservatory DCaf

Join Leeds Jewish Welfare Board, in conjunction with the Alzheimers Society, at their dementia café, ‘Conservatory Dcaf’ at the MAZCC.

The next Conservatory DCAF will take place on Tuesday 31st January, 2-4pm, and following that, on the last Tuesday of every month.

The café, run by volunteers and health care professionals, is open to provide support for people affected by dementia and their carers in an old fashioned café atmosphere. Café organiser, Anita Johnson, a member of LJWB’s Moorcare Community Service Team, said, ‘dementia cafes have sprung up over the last few years, to meet the needs of carers and people with dementia.  The aim is to create an old fashioned café atmosphere in a relaxed environment where people with dementia and their carers can share their experiences."

Cost £1.50 per person
